DD-WRT
Below, yourname.honkip.com and YOUR_UPDATE_KEY stand for your own name and update key.
Go to Setup → DDNS, set DDNS Service to Custom, and fill in:
DYNDNS Server update.honkip.com
User Name yourname.honkip.com
Password YOUR_UPDATE_KEY
Host Name yourname.honkip.com
URL /nic/update?
Where it says Password, put your update key. It's not your HonkIP sign-in password.
Check it worked
- Save the settings, then look at the Dynamic DNS page again. Most routers show a status like Connected, Success or Updated, sometimes with your address next to it.
- Once you have an account, Last check-in on My home shows when it last worked.
- Look your name up from any computer: nslookup yourname.honkip.com. The address it shows should be your home's address.
