Find your update key

Your update key is the secret code your router, NAS or app uses to tell HonkIP your home's address. Some routers put it in a box called "Password". It's not your account password, and it starts with hip_.

1. Sign in and open Setup.
2. Your key is at the top, with a Copy key button.
3. Every guide on that page already has your key filled in, so you can copy the settings as they are.

Think someone else has your key? Press Make a new key. The old one stops working straight away, so put the new one in your router or app.
